About the game
Hold anywhere and your grapple snaps onto the ring the dotted line points at. You swing on a real rope, and the swing builds as you go. Let go and you keep every bit of that speed, so you fly until you hold again and catch the next ring. Fall out of the sky, or let the storm catch you, and the run is over. Your score is how far you got, in meters.
Let go inside the glowing arc near the top of the swing for a Perfect Release: a flash, a burst of speed and one more link in your chain. Three in a row shoves the storm back. As you get further, the sky fills with bounce pads, boost rings, anchors that slide on rails and anchors that crumble a second and a half after you grab them. Grab coins mid-air for eight code-drawn runner looks, work through the mission board, and fly the Daily Sky: the same layout for everyone today, with a day streak. This is an early access build: the swing, the storm's pace and the scoring will be tuned from real runs.

How it’s built
- Pure HTML5 Canvas and vanilla JavaScript: no engine, no build step.
- The swing is hand-written physics in fixed 120 Hz steps: a point mass under gravity, held on a circle by a rope that can go slack, with a small assist on the forward half of each swing.
- The sky is generated ahead of you from a seeded random number generator, and each new anchor is checked by simulating a plain swing and release from the one before it.
- Difficulty was tuned with an autopilot that lets go with a set timing error, from near-perfect to sloppy.
- Every sound is synthesized in the browser at runtime, the same way as the other Labs games.
